Let your assistant handle scheduling.

With delegated access, an assistant signs in with their own login and manages your links, availability, and meetings as you. It’s on Premium, $200 per user per year or $20 monthly, and your assistant doesn’t need a paid seat. On any paid plan, you can also book a meeting for someone else, without sending them a link.

Can my assistant manage my scheduling?

Yes. Give your assistant delegated access, and they can work in your SavvyCal account with their own login, so you never share a password. They see what you see and can change your links, availability, and meetings.

One assistant can manage several people. Every account they manage shows up in their account menu, in SavvyCal and in the Chrome extension.

Copy your delegation link. On Premium, open Settings, find Delegated Access, and copy your delegation link.

  2. 2

Your assistant accepts. Your assistant opens it, signs in to SavvyCal or creates a free account, and accepts.

  3. 3

They switch to your account. Your assistant picks your account from their account menu. A banner shows whose account they’re in, and one click switches back.

  4. 4

Remove it when you’re done. Either of you can remove the access from Settings at any time.

Do team admins need delegated access?

No. The owners and admins of a SavvyCal subscription can already manage the links, schedules, and meetings of everyone on it. Delegated access is for an assistant who isn’t on your subscription, or who needs to act as you.

What SavvyCal doesn’t do

Delegation on Basic
Delegated access needs Premium on the account being managed. An assistant can’t act for someone on Basic.
Editing a booked meeting
You or your assistant can reschedule or cancel a booked meeting, but not change its title, length, or location afterward.
AI assistants as delegates
An AI assistant connected to SavvyCal acts as the person who connected it. It can’t switch into accounts that person manages as a delegate.

Something we didn’t cover? Drop us a line.

Which plan includes delegated access?

Premium, on the account being managed: $200 per user per year, or $20 monthly. If that account leaves Premium, its delegates lose access.

Does my assistant need a paid seat?

No. Your assistant needs a SavvyCal account, and a free one works.

Do I have to share my password?

No. Your assistant signs in with their own login and switches to your account from their account menu.

Can one assistant manage several executives?

Yes. Each person adds the assistant from their own Premium account, and the assistant switches between them from the account menu.

Can I book a meeting for a client without sending a link?

Yes. Use Book an event on one of your links, pick the time, and enter the client’s name and email. They get the invite and the confirmation email. It works on Basic and Premium.

Does booking for someone skip approval and payment?

Yes. A meeting you book for someone is confirmed right away, even on a link that requires approval or payment.

How do I remove an assistant's access?

Open Settings and remove them under Delegated Access. Your assistant can also remove themselves.
