Set your price
Turn on payments in the link editor, pick what you’re selling, and you’re done. Stripe handles the rest.
- 1
Pick a product. Choose any one-time price from your Stripe account, in whatever currency it’s set up in.
- 2
Or make one here. No product yet? Name it and set a price in US dollars, and SavvyCal creates it in Stripe for you.
- 3
Coupon codes. Let clients enter promotion codes you’ve set up in Stripe at checkout.
- 4
Taxes and invoices. Turn on Stripe Tax to work out sales tax, VAT, or GST from the client’s location (Stripe Tax has to be set up, and the product needs a tax behavior). Business clients can enter a VAT or tax ID, and Stripe can send an invoice after each purchase.
- 5
Billing address. Always ask for a billing address, or let Stripe ask only when tax needs it.
- 6
Save the card. Save the client’s payment details in Stripe so you can charge them later from Stripe, for example the balance after a deposit.
Paid first, booked second
When a client picks a time, SavvyCal holds it for up to two hours while they check out on Stripe, so nobody else can book it. Once they pay, the invite, video link, and confirmation go out.
If they leave Checkout through its back link, the time opens up again right away. If they don’t pay within two hours, the booking expires. No unpaid meetings clogging your week.
Your money, your Stripe account
SavvyCal sets up the checkout. Everything after that, from payouts to receipts and refunds, runs through the Stripe account you already use.
- No cut for us. Payments land in your Stripe account, and SavvyCal doesn’t add a fee on top of Stripe’s.
- Your payment methods. Clients see the payment methods you’ve turned on in Stripe, from cards to wallets and bank payments.
- One account for the team. Connect Stripe once for your organization, and teammates can charge for their links with it too.
What can’t SavvyCal do with payments?
- Session packages or credits
- Clients can’t buy a bundle of sessions and book them over time.
- Recurring billing
- No subscriptions, retainers, or payment plans. Every payment is one-time.
- Paid group sessions
- Group links, where several people book one time slot, can’t take payment.
- Several prices on one link
- Each link has one price, whatever duration the client picks.
- Refunds
- Canceling a paid booking doesn’t refund it. You refund in Stripe.
- SMS reminders
- Reminders go by email only.
- Other processors
- Stripe only. No PayPal or Square.
- Fixed tax rates
- Tax comes from Stripe Tax only; you can’t set your own rate per link.
- Deposits
- There’s no partial payment. You can price the link at the deposit amount and save the card to charge the rest from Stripe.
If you sell session packages, Acuity Scheduling and TidyCal support them, and Acuity also sells memberships and recurring billing. Calendly offers meeting packages and paid group events. Details as of October 2026.

Which scheduling tool lets clients pay when they book?
SavvyCal does, through Stripe, on the Premium plan. Clients pay in Stripe Checkout before the time is reserved. Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, and TidyCal also take payment at booking.
Calendly payments Acuity Scheduling plans TidyCal pricingWhich plan includes payments?
Paid bookings are part of the Premium plan: $200 per user per year (shown as $17 per month), or $20 monthly. Stripe’s usual processing fees apply, and SavvyCal doesn’t add one of its own.
How long is a time slot held during checkout?
Up to two hours. It’s released right away if the client leaves Checkout through its back link.
What happens if a paid meeting is canceled?
The meeting comes off both calendars, and the payment stays in Stripe. If you want to refund it, issue the refund from your Stripe dashboard.
Can clients reschedule a paid meeting?
Yes. Rescheduling moves the same meeting to a new time, so there’s nothing to pay twice.
Can I review requests before they're booked?
Yes. Turn on approvals, and clients pay first, then the request waits for you to approve it.
Can one event have two prices?
Not on one link. Each link has one price, and every duration on that link costs the same. Create a link per price, such as a 30-minute and a 60-minute session, and share them from one profile page.
Can I charge for group events?
Not yet. Payments work on one-on-one and team links, but group links, where several people book the same time, can’t take payment.
Can I sell session packages?
No. Each booking is paid on its own. Acuity Scheduling, TidyCal, and Calendly (meeting packages, Stripe only) sell packages.
Can I take recurring or subscription payments?
No. SavvyCal only uses one-time Stripe prices.
Can clients choose what to pay?
Yes. Use a Stripe price where the customer chooses the amount, and the link shows a flexible price. Coupon codes can’t be used with these prices.
Can I use PayPal or Square?
No. SavvyCal works with Stripe only.
Do clients get a receipt or invoice?
Stripe sends receipts based on your Stripe settings. You can also have Stripe generate an invoice after each purchase.
