Which calendars does SavvyCal work with?
Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 (Outlook), iCloud Calendar, and Fastmail. Connect as many accounts and calendars as you use, on Basic and Premium, and SavvyCal checks every one you turn on before it offers a time. A dentist appointment on your personal iCloud calendar blocks your work link too.
Each link adds its bookings to the calendar you pick, which can be on any of the four. People who book with you don’t need an account, and they can overlay their own calendar on your link to find a time.
How does each calendar connect?
Google, Microsoft 365, and Fastmail connect when you sign in. iCloud connects with an app-specific password from your Apple Account. Zoom, Whereby, and SquadCast links work on bookings in any of them. Google Meet and Microsoft Teams links need the booking on a Google or Microsoft calendar.
| Calendar | How you connect | Bookings can go on | Built-in video links |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Sign in with Google, on Google Workspace or a personal Gmail account | Any calendar you can edit | Google Meet |
| Microsoft 365 (Outlook) | Sign in with Microsoft | The account’s default calendar | Microsoft Teams, on a work or school account |
| iCloud Calendar | Your iCloud email address and an app-specific password | Any calendar you can edit | None built in |
| Fastmail | Sign in with Fastmail | Any calendar you can edit | None built in |
How does SavvyCal check several calendars?
It reads busy times from every calendar you turn on and only offers times that are free on all of them. The same set of calendars counts for all your links; you can’t check a different set on each link.
- You choose the calendars
- Turn conflict checking on or off for each calendar. The calendars you turn on count for every link.
- Busy events block time
- Events marked busy block time, including invitations you haven’t answered yet.
- Free and declined events don’t
- Events marked free, events you’ve declined, and canceled events don’t block anything.
- Changes show up fast
- SavvyCal reads your calendars when someone opens your link, so a new event blocks that time within about a minute.
- No limit on calendars
- Connect as many calendars as you use, on Basic and Premium. There’s no per-calendar charge.
- No copying between calendars
- SavvyCal reads busy times from each calendar but doesn’t copy events from one calendar to another.
Which calendars don’t work with SavvyCal?
- On-premises Exchange
- SavvyCal connects to Microsoft 365 in Microsoft’s cloud, not to Exchange servers run on premises or by other hosts.
- Other CalDAV servers
- iCloud and Fastmail are the only CalDAV calendars SavvyCal connects to. You can’t enter another CalDAV server, such as Nextcloud.
- Proton and HEY
- There’s no integration with Proton Calendar or HEY Calendar.
- ICS feeds
- You can’t add a calendar by its ICS feed or subscription URL.
Built for both sides of the invite
For you
- Every calendar counts. Check Google, Outlook, iCloud, and Fastmail calendars for conflicts, all at once.
- Room to breathe. Buffers and frequency limits keep meetings from piling up back to back.
- Your best times first. Preferred slots steer people toward the times you’d rather take, without hiding the rest.
- Time blocks. Put a “Demos” event on your calendar, and your demo link only offers times inside it.
For your guests
- The whole week. A full week view shows every option at once, instead of a day-then-time hunt.
- Their calendar, too. Guests can lay their own calendar over yours and spot a time that works for both.
- No time zone math. Times show up in each guest’s own time zone.
- Nothing to sign up for. Guests book with a name and email. No account, no app to install.
Hosts love it. Their guests do too.
SavvyCal makes me feel better about finding time to meet with clients, partners, and colleagues. It goes beyond similar tools by removing the awkwardness of imposing your schedule upon others.

How many calendars can I connect?
As many as you use, on Basic and Premium. Connect several Google, Microsoft 365, iCloud, and Fastmail accounts, and choose which calendars in each one count as busy.
Can each link check a different set of calendars?
No. The calendars you turn on count for every link. Each link can add its bookings to a different calendar, and use its own schedule of hours.
Does SavvyCal copy busy times between my calendars?
No. It reads busy times from each calendar when it offers times on your links, but it doesn’t add events from one calendar to another.
Does SavvyCal work with Fastmail?
Yes. Sign in with Fastmail to connect your Fastmail calendars. SavvyCal checks them for conflicts and can add bookings to them. You can also sign up for SavvyCal with your Fastmail account.
Does SavvyCal work with Proton Calendar, CalDAV, or Exchange?
No. SavvyCal connects to Google, Microsoft 365, iCloud, and Fastmail calendars only. It doesn’t support Proton, HEY, other CalDAV servers, ICS feeds, or Exchange servers outside Microsoft 365.
Do all-day events block my availability?
Only if they’re marked busy. SavvyCal treats an all-day event like any other: busy blocks time, and free doesn’t. Check how your calendar app marks all-day events if a day looks open or closed when it shouldn’t.
Can I connect a calendar on the free plan?
Yes. You can sign up, connect your calendars, and set up links for free. To let people book from your links, you need Basic, $10 per user per month billed annually, or Premium.
